§ 62-2. Handbills, circulars, dodgers; distribution.

  • (a)

    Definitions. The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Handbill, circular, and dodger mean advertising matter or information printed on paper for general distribution by hand.

    (b)

    Prohibited acts. It shall be unlawful for any person to distribute or cause to be distributed on any of the streets, avenues, alleys, parks or any vacant property or by putting or placing the same in or on an automobile or other vehicle within the city any paper handbills, circulars or dodgers.
