§ 4.7. Omission of candidate from ballot upon withdrawal of candidacy.

The name of any person nominated by regularly filed petition for candidacy shall have the right to withdraw from the election and shall be omitted from the ballot if such person notifies the city clerk or city manager not less than twenty (20) days before the election that he will not accept the nomination specified in the petition of candidacy.
