§ 18-144. Prohibited home occupations.

  • Prohibited home occupations are as follows:

    (1)

    Motor vehicle and boat repair or painting; vehicle customization to include, but not be limited to, installation of accessories such as lights, sirens, car phones, etc.

    (2)

    Beauty shop and barbershop, nail technician, masseuse or any other personal service.

    (3)

    Nursery school.

    (4)

    Amplified musical instrument instruction.

    (5)

    Dance and nonamplified musical instrument instruction, except private tutoring of no more than one student per session.

    (6)

    Photography studio.

    (7)

    Real estate sales and brokerage.

    (8)

    Retail sales, except garage sales.

    (9)

    Welding.

    (10)

    Taxidermy.

    (11)

    Manufacturing.

    (12)

    No door-to-door salesmen are allowed within the city, except nonprofit organizations.

    Television and appliance repair.
