§ 8.8. Procedure for recall.

Recall petitions. Any member of the governing body of the city may be removed from office by the electors of the city by the following procedure:

The recall provisions set out in § 8.8 have been rendered obsolete by F.S. § 100.361, and have been deleted at the direction of the city. The above language has been retained, in view of the fact that F.S. § 100.361(10) provides that said section will apply to cities and Charter counties which have adopted recall provisions.
